AGGS is proud to be part of the Bright Futures Educational Trust. Being part of the Trust provides a wide range of opportunities for staff and students to work with schools across the Bright Futures network.
On Friday last week we took our Y13 biologists to Formby beach to learn about ecological sampling. They investigated the distribution of species on the sand dune ecosystem. We were hit by a few showers, but this didn't dampen their spirits!

Reminder that tonight there is an informal wellbeing & curriculum evening from 6.00-7.00pm. The purpose of the evening is to share some updates as your child begins Year 10, including information about the curriculum, examinations and the pastoral support students receive.
Charity Committee - Macmillan coffee morning at Lunch on Friday 29 Sept. Donations of home-baked or bought cakes to sell would be much appreciated, all money to go to Macmillan nurses. Students to bring cakes to the cover supervisors room in west wing before reg or assembly
7-5, 7-6 and 7-7 have been taking part in the D&T @KaplaClubUK workshop this morning, both building on the structures from yesterday and creating new ones!
#wearebrightfutures
7-3 & 7-4 have shown incredible skills in their @KaplaClubUK workshop working in small groups to create giant giraffes and constructing a second bridge using different building techniques.
Thanks to AGGS PTA for supporting this event
